Australia Beat Newzealand By Seven Wickets And Remain Unbeatin In World Cup Matches Since 1999

Australia openers Shane Watson (62) and Brad Haddin (55) cracked half centuries to guide the defending champions to a crushing 7-wickets win against New Zealand in a Group A match of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2011 in Nagpur, India.
Set to chase a moderate target of 207 to win Watson and Haddin paired up to put a 133-run opening stand as they laid a solid foundation for a convincing win.
Australia reached their required target after losing just three wickets and with 16 overs to spare.
Earlier Australian fast bowlers Mitchell Johnson and Shaun Tait destroyed New Zealand to set themselves a reasonable run chase. With Nathan MacCullum’s half century New Zealand were restricted to 206 with 29 balls to spare after being put into bat.
New Zealand 206 all out (45.1) (Jesse Ryder 25, Jamie How 22, Nathan McCullum 52, Daniel Vettori 44, Mitchell Johnson 4/33, Shaun Tait 3/35)
Australia 207 for 3 wickets (34) (Shane Watson 62, Brad Haddin 55, Michael Clarke 24 n.o., Cameron White 22 n.o., Hamish Bennett 2/63)
